Kim Impecoven, AAI our agency president, started his insurance career in 1974 and joined the Blasingame Insurance Agency in 1978. He was born & raised in Spokane. He is the past president of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of WA (IIABW) and has served on the board of directors of the IIABW & IIABS along with numerous committee assignments. He holds a degree from the Insurance Institute of America and is recognized as an Accredited Advisor of Insurance. In addition he is the recipient of the “Don C. Burnam Award” which is awarded each year by the IIABW to the person in Washington State who has rendered the most outstanding service to the industry. Kim has served on the Office of Insurance Commissioners Agents & Brokers Advisory Committee, several insurance company advisory councils and the Business Development Committee for Hospice of Spokane He enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, biking, golfing and his time at Priest Lake with his wife Margie.

A native of Spokane, Dan Kelly attended Ferris High School and EWU. He started in the Insurance business in 1976 and joined Blasingame Insurance in 1978. For years he juggled working both full time in the agency and as a firefighter for the City of Spokane until he retired from the department in 2002. He is the Vice President for our agency and head of the Personal Lines Dept. In his spare time he enjoys following the Mariners, spending time with his family and traveling.

Ian Cunningham, AAI ARM

Ian joined his father’s insurance agency in 1976 while completing his B.A. from Eastern Washington University. He received his agent training from Aetna Life & Casualty and took the reins of the agency when his dad semi-retired in 1978. After 20 years on his own, he joined the Blasingame Agency in 1998 to be a part of the Blasingame team of professionals. He enjoys his work, because the insurance business, at its best, is about helping people be more successful, happier, and secure. Being able to give back to his community means a lot to him. He believes Spokane is a great place to live, work and play. Ian was raised to enjoy the outdoors, to hunt and fish, camp and backpack, kayak, sail and ski. When he can, he takes his kayak fly-fishing on one of our local lakes, or grabs his waders for the rivers in North Idaho and Montana. In the winter you will find him skiing or snowshoeing. His spirit thrives on wilderness, and he believes there isn’t anyplace else in this country that gives us what we have right here in our own backyard. It’s not something he wants to take for granted, and he wants to help protect it for his children and their children.

Jack Louie

Jack is a life long resident of Spokane. He began his insurance career in 1988 and joined Blasingame Insurance in 1997. Prior to starting his insurance career, Jack managed Louie’s restaurant, a long-standing family business. He and his two sisters are triplets, the first set of triplets in Spokane. In his spare time Jack enjoys spending time with his children and new grandbaby. If missing in action, Jack can often be found golfing, fishing or bowling. In addition, he likes watching his nieces and nephews on the ball field.

Jason Reser

A native to Washington, Jason graduated from Washington State University in 1997 with a Business degree focusing on Insurance & Risk Management. After graduation Jason took a job with Safeco Insurance in Seattle as a commercial underwriter, a postion he stayed at until the Fall of 2000. During a trip to Spokane and Lake Roosevelt in the summer of 2000, Jason and his wife decided the Spokane area had alot to offer and decided to make it their home. They sold their house in Seattle packaged up all their belongings and 3 months later they were living in Spokane. In Spokane Jason took a job with Unitrin Insurance as a commerical underwriter. In the Fall of 2002 Jason took a position at Blasingame Insurance as a commercial producer. Jason’s interests include boating, wakeboarding, telemark skiing, cycling and restoring old muscle cars.

Jannel is a life long resident of Spokane and a graduate of North Central High School. She began her insurance career in 1997 and joined Blasingame Insurance in 1998. Jannel is a sports fanatic. Her favorites include hockey, baseball and volleyball. She also enjoys scrap booking and photography in her spare time. She is the Commercial Account Manager for policies associated with Ian Cunningham and Jason Reser.

I worked for State Government and in Civil Engineering for several years before going into insurance in 1992 where I was an all-lines agent concentrating on Life, Health & Commercial lines, eventually administering the Federal Crop Program for the agency. In 1995, I left insurance only to return to it in 2004. I now work as a CSR in personal lines and am in the process of obtaining my Life & Disability license. I have two sons and two step-daughters, three grandsons & 5 step-grandchildren. On my off time I enjoy decorating. I intend to be an Interior Decorator in my next life! The thing I enjoy most out of life ‘is life itself”. Everyday is a new experience and I can hardly wait to face it!!!!

Darcy started her insurance career in 2003 at Unitrin Business Insurance. With experience in agriculture and commercial lines, Darcy started with Blasingame in August of 2005. She is the commercial account manager for policies associated with Kim Impecoven, Dan Kelly, Jack Louie. Darcy has three sons, a beautiful daughter in-law and two wonderful grandchildren; Zach and Maddi. She enjoys reading, biking, gardening and life.

Andrea is a native of Spokane who graduated from Mead High School. She graduated from Eastern Washington University with a major in Finance in 2004 and has been working in the industry ever since. Andrea and her husband Topher love to spend time at Priest Lake and snow skiing. She is also an avid college basketball and football fan! She is a busy Mom with an active 1 and a half year old Hudson and a new baby girl to arrive in May.

Heather is a Spokane native, she graduated from high school at Shadle Park and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Washington University. She began her career in Insurance as a Customer Service Representative with Travelers in 2002 and for a short time was a Sales Professional with Safeco before joining Blasingame in 2007. Heather and her husband have four children including one gifted daughter and three busy boys. When she isn’t working she is spending time outdoors with her family and friends.

Andine moved to Spokane in 1984 from Yakima, WA to work for Qwest Communications. After 35 years Andine retired in 2001. Realizing retirement was not for her she was lucky to have the opportunity to come to work for Blasingame Insurance in 2007. I have enjoyed learning about the insurance business and dealing with our customers on a daily basis. When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my 2 grandchildren, playing cards, walking, reading, going to the movies and in the good weather playing the game I love, Golf.
